[Paraview] Is there a CMake flag to force Paraview to get built
using an already installed VTK

Hello,
I am trying to build Paraview 2.4.2 on a Gentoo box.
I have already VTK 5.0.0 installed on my system but when I built Paraview I
have the strong feeling that it builds it own version of VTK (version?).
To build VTK takes ages and to build Paraview takes even longer... and to have
a separate VTK library and an "embedded" one within Paraview feels odd (even
though I understand the logic, especially for Windows platform).
My idea in the long term is to have separate .ebuild (compilation procedure
for Gentoo) for VTK and Paraview.
So, is there a flag, on option to force Paraview to be built using an already
installed VTK library and not the one provided with the Paraview source code?
If yes, which minimum version of VTK (4.2.x? 4.4.x? 5.0.x? 5.1.x?) needs
Paraview 2.4.2?
Daniel
