[Paraview] Help! Paraview keeps crashing out with X Error on Mac Powerbook G4

Hi,

Seems I'm not the only one having Mac-related Paraview issues! I'm  
trying to compile things on a non-Intel Powerbook G4 running 10.4.6  
though.

Based on some of the advice that I received, I compiled  
paraview-2.2.1 but I get the same problem as before with it crashing  
out with:

X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range
  for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  150 (GLX)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  3 (X_GLXCreateContext)
  Value in failed request:  0x22
  Serial number of failed request:  1122
  Current serial number in output stream:  1123

Not that I know anything about these things but could it just be that  
my video card is not hefty enough?

All is not lost though as my Linux workstation is able to run the  
binaries happily so I'm not completely Paraview-less. I just can't  
lug it around with me as I could if it was on my laptop...
