[Paraview] Help! Paraview keeps crashing out with X Error on Mac Powerbook G4

Mike,

No, I am reporting that octave and R work on Intel Macs with OS X 10.4.6,
but not on PowerPC Macs with the same OS. Paraview is a different story. The
octave and R problems with the PowerPC Macs are apparently related to
loading .dylibs.

I installed my Mac paraview from the Kitware download binaries, and have not
attempted a build. As I said, the download has worked well so far.
