[Paraview] compiled with no errors but have no gui

All,
I have downloaded the latest CVS version of Paraview and built it to support off screen rendering.  I built mangled mesa, and finally got it to compile with no errors.  When I try to run paraview I get nothing???  It's as if the computer is trying to start the application but it never comes back..
 
Any ideas, thanks in advance
