Hi,
thanks for the hint. I had a look at MayaVi and have to say that it's =
far
less intuitive than Paraview. Besides, I heard that Kitware is about to
release a OSX version of Paraview so I'd rather not go through the =
hassle of
installing vtk & Python... ;-)

At the risk of getting dirty looks on this list ;-) I suggest that if
you can get VTK-Python working on OSX you can give MayaVi
(http://mayavi.sf.net) a shot. It should also serve as a reasonable
front end to VTK.
