So it seems one of the bits involved with this tickles a Python oddity
where modules become None on a reload (details are the same as this
issue[1]) and is causing exceptions within buildbot and for the failure
status to pop up for the build even though the steps all completed
successfully. I've fixed it up to be more robust. Trust CDash for builds
started today (or look at the step summary on buildbot; the grid will be
red due to builds started while the bug was present).
