[Paraview-developers] ParaView plugin in MPI context

I have a paraview plugin (writer) which works OK with a serial version 
of ParaView (built from source).
Is this code safe if used with a MPI version of Paraview ? If not, what 
kind of modifications (check, changes) do I have to do ? (I googled this 
but didn't really find clear answer)
