[Paraview-developers] [EXTERNAL] [Paraview] color scale editor bugs, and missing luts

David/ Burlen,
I would agree. User defined LUTs should be at the top, followed by the good old standards, followed by the less common, huge number of LUTs that were added a few years ago (i.e., hundreds of LUTs).

I also opened up the source code, and could not find the few magic LUTs that is in Burlen's list - specifically Volcano. Was this in the ParaView source, or was it a user added LUT?

Alan

Hi all,

> ... As for me, and I suspect most of my users, there are so many lookup tables that they are overwhelming. ... I did reorder the LUT back a version or so ago, trying to move the old, standby, commonly used LUT's to the top (they were at the bottom of pages of LUTs).

As long as we're wishing... user-imported LUTs should be at the top of the list -- not the bottom like now -- since presumably the user imported it for a reason.

Also, Burlen: perhaps the version number bump changed which ParaView config file gets read (and thus made it appear as if your custom LUTs are gone)? If so, they are just in a differently-versioned config file.
