Hi Utkarsh,
A Few things:
1. Manta does not patch
2. Any plugins using kwsource.kitwarein.com for git cloning fails. I am assuming it is behind a firewall
3. I am not quite sure how to generate a package that is self-contained/actually run-able on my mac… not using the plug-ins mentioned above, the super build builds fine, but I cannot actually run it (it fails on loading HDF5 libraries) I am unsure if this is related to the bug listed in the BUGS.txt file in the super build directory… there isn't really much information on what the bug means.
Here is an output example for (2) above:
[ 74%] Performing download step (git clone) for 'acusolve'
fatal: Unable to look up kwsource.kitwarein.com (port 9418) (nodename nor servname provided, or not known)
Cloning into 'acusolve'...

OS X 10.7.4
Xcode 4.3.3 using SDK 10.6
gfortran 4.2.1

Joshua,
Various fixes have gone into ParaView Superbuild in this past week. Can you give it another try and see if the problems you ran into still persist?
Thanks
Utkarsh
