I did a git pull from kitware/master today and I still get the dialogs. I also am still unable to connect on windows. The dialogs appear along with a message saying "client connected" after you have shut down the client (because it doesn't connect). Then you must terminate the processes manually.

If anyone else has tried windows recently I'd be glad to know if all works fine for them ...
