[Paraview-developers] Any success on building ParaView-3.10.1 on Mac OS OX 10.6.8 | Xcode 4.0?

Anyone succeeded in building PV for Snow Leopard + Xcode 4.0?

Tried a few times without any success (10.6.8 Snow Leopard *not* Lion | gcc
version 4.2.1 | CMake 2.8-2 | Qt 4.7 | x86_64  Xcode 4.0).
The process is far from being automatic, many tweaks +custom configurations
are needed.

Cannot build the standard plug-ins. Once i got compiler complaining about a
VTK dylib missing, no matter if in CMake GUI i turn
VTK_EXTRA_COMPILER_WARNINGS on and turn VTK_USE_RPATH to ON according to the

There is no  ParaView app and i cannot always re-produce the same errors..

also confirms the fine mess for earlier mac os x versions.

Finally, I tried the git trunk without any luck. thanks for any hints
