[Paraview-developers] Moving to hdf5-1.8.x

Please can someone give me an approximate date when 3.8.1 will be released. I'm much too busy to do major contributions (like hdf5-1.8) right now, but I've got a lot of other small patches I want to gradually apply to pv and I'd like to have some idea of when the deadlines are.
