[Paraview-developers] Compiling under cygwin

The only reason is that I've got cygwin installed, rather than mingw, and 
was hoping to avoid having to work in a new environment.  However, after 
looking around for advice, it looks like qt isn't supported so much under 
cygwin, so maybe mingw is the way to go after all.
