Zach,

I've got the terminal set to :0 in the config, which is what it is for my login on the virtual machine. I did finally get a more informative error message in dev.log, pasted below:

When you open a terminal and type `echo $DISPLAY` what is the value it
shows? Whatever that is is what you should set the config option to in
Midas.
