[ITK-users] using imageseriesreadwrite with 'mat' files

hello all,

does anyone know if there is a reaosn I cannot use imagseriesreadwrite with
'mat' files?

I would like to compose a series of 3D-slice affine transforms (mat format)
into a single 3D-volume affine transform (ideally would also be mat format).
