Although I have succesfully used the patches provided in the above
mentioned websites, I have
also heard that the first service pack of VS8 Express introduced a bug
that would prevent
you from compiling Qt4 (the opensource version as well as the commercial
version). Luckily
I didn't install the service pack ...
