No,
You don't need to know the correspondence between
the points in order to use the ICP method.

It is actually one of the advantages of this method.

Please look at the examples in


      Insight/Examples/Patented/
          IterativeClosestPoint1.cxx
          IterativeClosestPoint2.cxx
          IterativeClosestPoint3.cxx


The examples are in 2D and 3D, but you
can use this method in any dimension.
