The best and most reliable VRML viewer is Cortona distributed by
Parallel Graphics, free download:
http://www.parallelgraphics.com/products/cortona/
It is built for Windows, Mac and Mac OS X. Unfortunately, it is not
built for Linux. VRML viewers for Linux had not been fully developed
when I was searching for the Linux solution. This was over a year ago.
There are two candidates, open-sourced and free, you might try:
1. OpenVRML at http://www.openvrml.org/
2. FreeWRL at http://freewrl.sourceforge.net/
Good luck.
