[Insight-users] Is this a registration case?

Hi!

I have created a 3d surface rendering of the humeral
bone from ct dicom slices,using itk for processing +
vtk for visualization.
I would like to see in each bone which cylinder fits
better inside the bone.
Which way will help me solve my problem?
Is this a typical model to image registration problem?
