Hi Yan,


What compiler are you using ?



Your compiler failed one of the basic VNL tests
from template capabilities.

It is quite likely that your compiler has a
configuration problem related to the way it
compiles templates when they are found in the
code.


In general, compilers manage two types of
template instantiations:

        - Explicit
        - Implicit

In the first case, the templates are instatiated
only when you directly instruct the compiler to
do it.

In the second case, templates are instantiated as
soon as they are found by the compiler, and their
code is put in the current compilation unit.

Implicit instantiation results in duplication of code
but easier consistency.

What happens after you get the warning in CMake ?

Can you finish the configuration process ?

Can you start the build process ?

Do you get other error/warning messages after this one ?
