VTK Pacific Course 2004
-----------------------

Dr. William J. Schroeder will be teaching a 2-day VTK Developer's Course in 
Sydney Australia on December 20-21, 2004 at the The University of Sydney, 
ARC Centre for Autonomous Systems. The course is oriented towards VTK users 
and developers who wish to learn more about the inner workings of the 
system. The course is approximately 50% lecture and 50% hands-on exercises. 
Students will receive course notes, the "VTK User's Guide" for VTK4.4 and 
"The Visualization Toolkit" Textbook (also updated for VTK4.4). Total 
attendance for the course is limited, so please register early (make travel 
plans early as well as this is peak season in Australia). The course fee is 
$700USD/$1000 Australian.

Course attendees are expected to have a basic knowledge of C or C++ and the 
fundamentals of visualization. We are requesting that course attendees 
bring laptops, and that VTK version 4.4 and the course exercises are 
installed prior to the first day of class. (Students will receive the 
necessary help to get VTK running prior to the start of the course.)
