[Insight-users] Saving output files

Dear ITK users,

when I apply filters and other ITK functions on my images, I want to see the 
output of the image. In other words, that the program makes an output file I 
am able to load.
Does someone of you have some tips how to save the output images in a simple 
way? Instead of using VTK?
