[Insight-users] ITK 1.6 Features / Differences

Hi Neha,

The main change between ITK 1.4 and 1.6 are:

1) Support for use Insight along with
    and external VXL.  This is mostly of
    interest for people developing computer
    vision projects.

2) Support for combining with both CVS VTK
    and VTK 4.2

3) The Origin and Spacing of images are
    now array-like types instead of pointers
    to doubles.

4) More C++ examples were added into
                Insight/Examples


The rest of modificiations are rather
scattered and combine bug fixed and
some features added.
