[Insight-developers] API change of vnl_math to namespace

Matt,

If we need to make a pass through ITK to fix this, I recommend that we
replace vnl_math with std functions where ever possible.

We have had to deal with vnl api changes before, although not that often I
admit. std::'s interface is much less likely to change.
