[Insight-developers] Named inputs and outputs

Dear developers,

I've been working on adding support for named inputs and outputs in  
ProcessObject and subclasses for quite some time.
I've adressed most (all?) the comments made by the reviewers this  
week, and splitted the change in two parts to make it easier to read.
The core of the change is available at

and the fixes to make sure that the ITK filters will continue to work  
properly when named inputs and outputs will be added is available at
