[Insight-developers] Reading Analyze Files?

It's a simple thing to turn on reading Analyze files; but I have been busy
today on other things and not tried re-running BRAINS3 regression tests
with it turned on. I'll do that and push a patch once I verify it works,
though I don't know if it deal with orientation in a way compatible with
the old Analyze 75 reader.

The old Analyze reader wasn't that great in that regard. When I wrote that
I interpreted the spec as best I could and tested it with the files I had
available. But in general, Analyze75 wasn't reliably implemented with
respect to orientation -- there are 48 possible permutations of anatomical
orientation and I think Analyze supported 6.

The only reason anyone cares is that they have legacy scans not yet
converted.
