In principle: Yes.

Although,

Given that the FPE is a new feature,
I'll be tempted to put it in a branch.

In either case,

Until we have a good coverage of platforms
in the Dashboard, it is probably a bad idea
to make commits, since we will not know if
they are working in all the supported platforms.
