Hi Arnaud,

Thanks for looking at this problem.

I was going to suspect of a 64bits bug, but the
report on the LSM test:

indicates that it passes on the following 64bits Linux builds:

     murron                     Linux-gcc-4.3.0-x86_64
     gargon.hooperlab           Linux-gcc-4.1.2-x86_64
     crl.med.harvard.edu	       Linux-x86_64-release-gcc
     sanchome.megason-lab.hms   Linux-g++-4.3-x86_64-dbg
     crl.med.harvard.edu        Linux-x86_64-release-opt-icc-10.1
     chiarugi.uiowa             Linux64-gcc4-4.1-dbg
     hythloth.kitware           Linux64-gcc-4.2
     crl.med.harvard.edu        Linux-x86_64-debug-gcc
     gelas.megason-lab.hms      Linux-g++-4.3-x86_64
     boa.invivonmr.uu.nl        Linux-x86_64-g++-4.1.2


The ones that attract attention are

     sanchome.megason-lab.hms   Linux-g++-4.3-x86_64-dbg
     gelas.megason-lab.hms      Linux-g++-4.3-x86_64

where the test passes fine.

What specific configuration differences do you have between the
build (passing) in

     sanchome.megason-lab.hms   Linux-g++-4.3-x86_64-dbg

and the build (failing) in

     sanchome.megason-lab.hms   	Linux-g++-4.3-x86_64


?


Overall it still might be a bug that manifests itself
only in 64bits and only in Debug mode...
