[Insight-developers] GDCM: How to find out the correct pixel type

Hi there,

  One user instanciated it's DICOM reader using a unsigned short type.
Because the rescale function needed a signed short type, the result
was obviously wrong. I think I remember one group had some sort of
script / and or solution to avoid this mistake and correctly find the
proper pixel type.
