There's an IASTED International Conference on Computer Graphics
and Imaging, to be held in Kauai, Hawaii, August 12-14, 2002.

Papers are due March 1, 2002.

There are special sessions on

The conference itself includes imaging ontologies (Bryan, can
you say MMAs?), HCI, Animation, Visualization, Modeling,
computational geometry, multi-resolution modeling, etc.
There's also a plug for model validation.  There are several
items listed under image processing including segmentation.
