[IGSTK-Users] plans for the flockofbirds refactoring?

ok, I think we could try. As soon as you find some time, please let me know
your opinion on where and how to start the adaptation.
I continuously followed the developer's discussions during the last months,
so you can refer to any point, if you wish.
