Dear all-

Please note that the paper submission deadline as been extended to June 15th.

We look forward to your submissions!

-----------------------------------
International Workshop on Systems and Architectures for Computer Assisted
Interventions

the 13th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer
Assisted Intervention ( MICCAI-2010 )
China National Convention Center( CNCC)
Sept 24th, Beijing, China

The goal of this workshop is to establish a forum for discussing open
interfaces, interoperability, and standards for the development of computer
assisted intervention systems. This topic was chosen based on overwhelming
interest expressed at the "Systems and Architectures" workshop at MICCAI
2008 and 2009. The 2008 workshop focused on toolkits; in 2009 it emphasized
the importance of open interfaces and standards. In 2010, we will focus on
"Modularization and Standardization of CAS Systems and Frameworks". As
before, this workshop will include strong participation from industry and
academia.

You are kindly invited to submit your work within the aims and scope of the
workshop. Submissions must include at least an abstract, but may be up to 8
pages in Midas Journal format. Papers will be reviewed by the workshop
committee
and accepted papers will be included in a special issue of the Midas
Journal.

Additional details are available at the workshop web site
