[IGSTK-Developers] no tcon tomorrow but please send me your book updates

Hi everyone:

Since several people cannot make the tcon tomorrow, it has been cancelled.
But I would appreciate it if you can send me an update on your book chapters
so I can update the Wiki (as you can tell I am going to keep bugging you
about this so we can make the end of August deadline ;)

I have attached a chapter on calibration from James that I think is shaping
up very nicely and is a good example. If we can have every chapter looking
like this within the next few weeks we should make the end of August
deadline. At the next tcon perhaps we should also discuss how we should
credit authors for their chapters. My thoughts would be to have everyone
listed as a book author as we discussed before but perhaps also have some
list of authors and reviewers for each chapter.

I cannot remember if I told everyone this, but James will be leaving the
ISIS Center to take a job at Accuray in California, the manufacturer of the
CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery system. So I would like to thank James
for his three years of service at ISIS and his contributions to IGSTK.

Kevin

Hi, Kevin,

I revised the calibration chapter recently. The issues from Sarah have been
updated, and also I add three examples for calibration related classes
directly from IGSTK doxygen codes, following Andinet's good suggestion.

Attached is the current version of the Calibration chapter FYI.

James and others:

At the tcon today, the following requests were made re the book:

*	Tracker: David is working on a second draft - when done he will send
to James for comments
*	Registration: James should review this chapter and send comments to
Andinet by next tcon
*	Calibration: David should send comments to James by next tcon (I
will also send this chapter to the editor)

Note that it was decided that comments should be embedded directly in the
Latex file and the file with comments should be committed to CVS

The author must then go view the comments ands revise the chapter
accordingly

David suggested that there might be an option in compiling the book so that
the comments would appear set off in some way but I am not sure about this

That's all for now - separately I will send a few other emails inquiring on
some chapters

Thanks all

Kevin
