[IGSTK-Developers] notice and "roll call" for tcon on Thursday

Hi everyone:

 

Two items for today:

1)       First, I would like to take "roll call" and confirm who will be
present for Thursday's tcon. Rick Avila will be in an NIH meeting, so I will
run the tcon and I believe David Gobbi will help. In particular, I would
like to confirm that Luis and Kevin Gary will be there so we can continue
the state machine discussion. I would also like to review the milestones for
the Nov. 11-12 one year planning meeting. So, please respond to this and let
me know if you plan to be part of the tcon on Thursday.

 

2)       please see the notice from the ERC at Johns Hopkins below. Peter
Kazanzides and Anton Deguet from Hopkins are on our advisory board. I
recommend we very briefly discuss this on Thursday at the tcon. Probably
nothing for us to do right now, except be aware of these development.

The CISST ERC has released the following components of the cisst package as
open source software:  cisstCommon (common tools), cisstVector (vectors,
matrices and transformations), and cisstNumerical (numerical methods).  This
software is written in C++ and has Python-compatible interfaces.  It was
created by the following ERC staff and graduate students: Anton Deguet, Ofri
Sadowsky, and Ankur Kapoor.  For details, see
