[ITK] [ITK-users] convert mha to stack of dicom images

What about extracting the 2D images from the 3D volume using, for example, 

IO/ImageReadExtractWrite.cxx?

Maybe this is not the most efficient way, but you could call the program in
a loop and extract all of the slices automatically. (I'm a newbie so I tried
this solution using a bash script.).
