[CMake] program output modified by ctest for cdash

Hmm... that may not be my problem.
I keep trimming down in different ways the program output in Text.xml in 
hopes to find some strings that trigger this problem.
But I'm not seeing any pattern that says whether cdash displays the any 
test results or not.
Any ideas on debugging techniques or log files or something?
