[Cmake] EXEC_PROGRAM - bug, "feature", or my bad? Mac OS X 10.3 / BSD

What version of cmake are you using?

I just tried the following on OS X, and windows, and
it worked:

EXEC_PROGRAM(pwd ${PROJECT_BINARY_DIR} OUT)
MESSAGE("${OUT}")

I tried with spaces in the path.
