[Cmake] About ccmake

Hi,
I'm running SuSE Linux 9.1 in a dual opteron machine. GCC 3.3.3 and 
ncurses-5.4-61.3 (both x86_64). Kernel 2.6. I've tried cmake 1.8.3, 2.0.2 and 
cvs 2.1.0 and in no cases I've obtained ccmake. Just cmake, ctest and 
DumpDocumentation.
The cmake executable obtained is ok but compiling paraview or vtk using cmake 
-i is a pain.
What am I doing wrong?
