- Additional Information
- It should be easier to use the topic based workflow
- There are check to prevent common errors
- There is a list of topic merged into next, and staged
- The named topic in the stage can be modified, and remerged
- No longer a need to find the right commit to continue a topic branch
- Workflow overview
- Create topic branch from master
- edit file and commit in topic branch
- push to stage
- issue ssh command to merge topic into next
- Example
git checkout master
git pull
git checkout -b topic
edit files
git commit ...
git fetch stage --prune
git push stage HEAD
ssh git@public.kitware.com stage SimpleITK print
ssh git@public.kitware.com stage repo merge -b next topic-name
