"Hybrid" is a directory and a library - you definitely have it :) Look in the VTK source directory. You will see folders like Filtering, Imaging, Hybrid, etc. Each of these folders gets compiled into a separate library (vtkFiltering, vtkImaging, vtkHybrid, etc).
