[vtkusers] VTK Not Rendering

I've attached my data and code here.  I'm not sure what's going on, but
the code is supposed to create two different visualizations:  one that is
rendered off-screen and saved to a file, and a second one that is rendered
on-screen.  The off-screen version works fine, but the on-screen one
always comes up blank.  I have no idea what I've done wrong.  Does anyone
have any ideas for me?
