[Insight-users] How to control the computing speed with Normalized MI

Hi Yu,


What makes you think that it is "Slow"  ?

How big are your images ?

How many bins are you using for the Metric ?

Did you compiled for Release ?

How many iterations is it running ?

Did it converged  ?

Are you providing a proper initialization to your Transform ?

What Optimizer are you using ?

What Transform are you using ?

  The most critical parameter for Normalized MI
  is the number of bin in the histogram.
