Hey folks,

I've done another round of my occasional comb through ITK copyrights.
It's looking more and more positive ... I may yet succeed in my
ultimate goal of having ITK packaged for Debian ;-)

Unfortunately, we're not there yet.  In the current CVS sources, I
found a couple files that are non-distributable.

Code/Numerics/itkPowellOptimizer.h contains:

 * \brief Implements Powell optimization using Brent line search - adapted from
 * Numerical Recipes in C (first edition).

...

 * \warning This class contains code that is covered by the Numerical
 * Recipies copyright. The code is scheduled to be replaced/removed as
 * soon as possible.



Utilities/itkExtHdrs/itkAnalyzeDb.h contains several notices like:

 * - NOTE: The C-structure definitions for are under copyright by the Mayo Foundataion.
 * - (c) Copyright, 1986-1995
 * - Biomedical Imaging Resource
 * - Mayo Foundation


This may be a case where permission has already been granted, but the
files not updated (?).

Can the Powell optimizer be removed or replaced?
