Hi Brad,

The NrrdIO software is not intended to be under LGPL.  Gordon (the author
& copied on this email) has suggested an alternative wording for the
header that makes this clearer, I just have not had time to put it in yet.
We definitely want to resolve this before the release, however, and
eliminate any possible confusion about LGPL.  The NrrdIO license is
intended to be identical to the ITK license.

The duplicate symbol issue might be a problem when mixing with the Utah
SCIRun application, which also uses NrrdIO.  I have not tested ITK out in
that context yet.  I will add a name-mangling header if folks think this
is worthwhile.
