this is the Very Short Manual for the Example:



1) File/Load a MetaImageFile
   the input button should turn green

2) Click on the "Input" button
   an Image viewer should appear. This viewer was created by Stephen.
   using the slider at your right, you can change slices.

   With the choice button at the bottom left you can select the
   slices direction.

   The sliders at the bottom perform intensity windowing

   There are a buttons for Zoom in / Zoom out
   and rhombic buttons for moving Up/Down/Left/Right

3) Select the size of Sigma for the gaussians with the counter
   in the middle of the Console

4) Click on "Execute"
   the progress bar should reflect the advance of each filter
   and the buttons should turn green as every filter is getting done.

5) Once the buttons labeled "Modulus" and "Laplacian" are green,
   the process is done.

6) You can visualize the results by clickin on the following buttons:

   "GradientX"
   "GradientY"
   "GradientZ"
   "Modulus"
   "Laplacian"


7) The buttons with small triangles will pop up the option for
   saving the resulting images in MetaImage format as floats.
