it would be great if somebody could take the time to "fix" the issues Eclipse 
has... it's mostly with out-of-source projects.
IMO it shouldn't be hard for somebody who knows: instead of using the 
directory where the project file is located, add a new tag to the project file 
pointing to the base directory to be used instead.
