Ok, so I was wrong when assuming that tags where a kind of alias name for
the type, like typedefs.

Is it true, then that in CABLE_CLASS_SET() the firt name given
will still have a role similar to a C-typedef ?

It is convinient in an application to call a type: "imageInputType"
instead of "itkImage_uchar_3"...

Ops!, I just tried again and it is working OK.
I should have been doing something wrong the first time I tried it.
