| Summary | 0009347: CMake treats D: and d: different in add_subdirectory | ||||||||
| Description | in CMake 2.6.4 there is a small issue which gives the following error: CMake Error at utilities/CMakeLists.txt:1 (add_subdirectory): add_subdirectory not given a binary directory but the given source directory "D:/kderoot/svn/tags/amarok/2.1.1/amarok/utilities/collectionscanner" is not a subdirectory of "d:/kderoot/svn/tags/amarok/2.1.1/amarok/utilities". When specifying an out-of-tree source a binary directory must be explicitly specified. it can be fixed if the source path is set to D:/kderoot instead of d:/kderoot. the call to cmake looks like that: cmake -G "..." d:/kderoot/svn/tags/amarok/2.1.1/amarok/ ..... | ||||||||

Please post a small example project (CMakeLists.txt files) that reproduces this problem. |

Sending issues I'm not actively working on to the backlog to await someone with time for them. If an issue you care about is sent to the backlog when you feel it should have been addressed in a different manner, please bring it up on the CMake mailing list for discussion. Sign up for the mailing list here, if you're not already on it: http://www.cmake.org/mailman/listinfo/cmake [^] It's easy to re-activate a bug here if you can find a CMake developer or contributor who has the bandwidth to take it on. |
