Summary | 0011075: Confirm removal of SGI (and SPROC) support from ITKv4
Description | I thought that there was verbal consensus to remove support for the SGI compilers from ITKv4 at the kickoff meeting. This compiler is not listed under those that are to be removed. A git branch that removes all references to __sgi, IRIX, SCSL, MIPS from ITK is completed. A second git branch that also removes all references to SPROC has also been created.

A MIPS based debian release was the only concern. That should not be affected by the remove of __sgi, IRIX, SCSL from ITK. There are no references to MIPS outside of the Utilities directory (other than __MIPSPro__ compiler defines). It is assumed that debian on a MIPS processor uses gcc compilers. |
