[vtkusers] Multi-Volume tool

Hello,
 
I have been using the multi-Volume tool in VTK and i have been trying to compensate for the rendering speeds with the multi-volumes, so that rotation and zoom of a volume can still be done in real time.
I've tried to use the desired update rate of the Qvtkrendering window that the multi-volume is attached to. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could Improve performance with this tool?
